Open for Business: O’Keiff Orthodontics

By Staff June 10, 2020 6:36 pm

Dr. Emily O’Keiff, D.D.S., M.S.

I provide all types of orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic services for children and adults (e.g. braces, Invisalign, expanders, new retainers, space maintainers, etc.).

What have you missed the most about serving your customers?

We’ve missed spending time with our patients, and helping them on their journey to a beautiful smile!

Despite business being greatly impacted, is there anything you are proud of these last few months?

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Connecticut State Department of Public Health, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

What additional steps are you taking to keep employees and customers safe?

Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions, and we will provide hand sanitizer for you to use when you enter the office. Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys, etc. Appointments will allow for social distancing between patients, and we will allow more time between patients to reduce waiting times, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

What do you consider to be your key differentiator in the marketplace post COVID-19?

We are a one-location boutique private practice dedicated to providing outstanding orthodontic treatment and excellent customer service.
